Continually celebrated as the largest rock festival in the United States, the festival returns for its 11th year in Louisville in 2025. The event boasts an electrifying lineup including a reunion from Slayer, Avenged Sevenfold, and Bring me the Horizon, plus nearly 150 performances from legendary acts like Deftones, Evanescence, and Marilyn Manson. Recognized for its massive influence on the rock music scene, Louder Than Life continues to reign as a must-attend festival for rock fans everywhere.
LouGrass, Louisville’s vibrant take on the bluegrass music tradition, celebrates Kentucky’s rich musical heritage. Rooted in the Appalachian hills and heavily influenced by Kentucky native Bill Monroe, the Father of Bluegrass Music, this genre is brought to life through a mix of Americana, alt-country, and jazz influences.
This series of free, live performances runs seasonally from April to October, taking place in various bars, hotels, and restaurants throughout the city.
